We have International Coach Federation (ICF) approval and we are also internationally accredited through the International Coaching Bureau (ICB).

Please note that at the end of your program you will be a certified and accredited coach and do not need to apply to the ICF to begin your career but you will have the option of applying if you decide to.

Students in the Open Your Own Academy program will have an ICB accredited curriculum to train students with and will have the option of becoing ICF approved as well. You will also be a certified coach trainer.

ICF Coach-Specific Hours (for tele-class program versions only):

Become an Accredited and Certified Coach Program- 60 hours (For use when applying for your ACC accreditation.)

Become a Coach Diploma Program- 125 hours (For use when applying for your PCC or MCC accreditation.)

Open Your Own Coach Training Academy- 40 hours (Can used for a first time ICF application, combined with another program or used to become re-certified.)

Certified Behavioral Coach/ Conflict Resolution Coach program- 40 hours (Can used for a first time ICF application, combined with another program or used to become re-certified.)

Gaining Clients and Hours

Through all the above programs you will be provided opportunities to gain clients and hours for use with your ICF applications. Included in your tuition.

We also have plan designed for you to assist you in gaining additional client hours and clients needed to apply for your ACC. MCC or PCC accreditation. Included in your tuition.

Step by Step Application Assistance

Also included in your tuition is step by step forms, resources and live support when completing your ICF application. Included in your tuition.

Mentor Coaching and Letter of Reference

At CANA you have the option of attending a coaching practicum which will prepare you for your ICF exam, allow you to listen in on coaching role playing and gain you the mentor coaching hours and letter of reference you need for your application. This tele-course is optional (if you are not planning on applying to ICF you do not need to attend) and is provided at a discounted group rate as you will be attending with other students. This course is only available to CANA students or graduates and costs an additional amount of approximately $500.00 USD. This is the only part of your training not included in your tuition.
